Apprentice Electrician

Position Summary

The Apprentice Electrician works under the supervision of Journeyman Electricians and Foremen to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the trade, build hands-on experience, and develop technical skills in a safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installing electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and prepare materials for installation
• Read and interpret basic drawings, schematics, and work orders
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and electrical codes
• Support service calls, maintenance work, and troubleshooting as directed

Qualifications

• Registered electrical apprentice or enrolled in an apprenticeship program
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work on job sites and perform physical tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
