Journeyman Electrician

Position Summary

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safe work practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Perform electrical service work and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
• Lead and support apprentices on job sites
• Communicate clearly with Foremen, project managers, and customers
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician certification
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license
